REALTOR.ca is the most popular and trusted real estate product in Canada, providing up-to-date and reliable information to over 250 million visitors per year who collectively view the product's property listings more than 1 billion times annually.
For more than ten years, RDEL Group has been the digital strategy, innovation, and product design partner to REALTOR.ca. Most notably, our team has been responsible for advising on the five year road map for REALTOR.ca's suite of products, refreshing the REALTOR.ca brand, creating a scalable product design system to ensure the continued success of its websites and mobile apps, mapping the user journeys of REALTOR.ca’s diverse audience personas, designing and building novel companion products to REALTOR.ca, and redesigning the suite of REALTOR.ca mobile apps, which are now live in market.

User research into the exciting realities of home buyers not only allowed us to help REALTOR.ca understand the bigger picture of the Canadian homebuyer’s journey, but also to understand the limits of their offerings at the time.
Our findings and visual artefacts helped them realize that their products were quite limited and only focused on a very small portion of the homebuyer’s life-long real estate journey—even though Canadians place such a high importance on their homes and real estate far beyond that one phase they were targeting.
With open eyes, new opportunities were clearly identified. REALTOR.ca was armed with the insights to understand where to grow next, where to expand their product roadmap, and how to become relevant and to lead throughout the entire real estate purchase cycle.
